Winners of the Competition "New Life for Ancient Buildings" (dating from 1793) for the world-famous University of Karlsruhe, Germany
The world-renowned University of Karlsruhe's International Department was one of the first German universities ever
to offer Bachelor and Master degree programs taught in English.
Our CEO Dr. Dr. Hundeshagen, as President of the University of Karlsruhe International Department back
then, was solely responsible for planning and constructing this prestiguous first American-style university campus building in Germany, with 149 dorm-rooms, numerous auditoriums, apartments for
professors and lecturers, 5 integrated shops and a very popular iconic restaurant.
He was also responsible for establishing, implementing and administering the international Bachelor and Master
curriculum in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering, as well as marketing these degree programs worldwide, including choosing and enrolling international students and for sponsorship
relations with government entities and industrial sponsors.

Hundeshagen and his team received the prestigious award 'Neues Leben in Alten Gebäuden' (new life in ancient buildings) from Deutsche Bank.
