As curators of Raden Saleh's heritage and legacy, as well as being his family, we are the only one authorized worldwide to offer products and services bearing his trademarked name and brand. Our CEO Dr Dr George H Hundeshagen is the closest blood relative of Raden Saleh.
Raden Saleh Syarif Bustaman was the founder of modern art and painting in Indonesia, and he was also the Painter of European and Asian Royalty.
The late Queen Elizabeth II, for example, owned several of his paintings, which are being kept at Windsor Castle in the UK. And his most famous painting "The Capture of Prince Diponegoro"
His masterpieces can also be found in many internatioal museums and art galleries, and in private collections worldwide. One of his most famous paintings, the "Capture of Prince Diponegoro" is owned by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, and is on display at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta.
They were shown and displayed for the first time at the Raden Saleh Pavillion during the Amsterdam World Exhibition in 1883.
